SCHOLARSHIPS AND AWARDS

WADOT AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE  

WADOT is a professional organization for all CTE teachers, career specialists, career and guidance counselors, administrators, Diversified Occupations teachers, Career Choices teachers, and Work-Site Learning coordinators within Washington State .  Education is a high priority of this organization.  WADOT promotes this goal by providing training and workshops during inservices and conferences for our membership and by awarding scholarships to high school students to help provide financial assistance to pursue post-secondary education.

WADOT awards two scholarships to high school students:

WADOT SCHOLARSHIP For FINANCIAL NEED  

WADOT Financial Need Scholarship winner was Ignas Kazilas from Heritage High School in Vancouver

WADOT will award one $500 scholarship to a qualified graduating senior.  The scholarship is to be used for tuition and other direct school expenses at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the 2010-2011 school year only (Technical Schools will qualify as a two-year program).

WADOT MERIT SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION  

WADOT Merit Scholarship winner is Mason Wrolstad from Stanwood High School

 WADOT will award one $500 scholarship to a qualified graduating senior.  The scholarship is to be used for tuition and other direct school expenses at an accredited two- or four-year college or university for the 2010-2011 school year only (Technical Schools will qualify as a two-year program).
